Bookstore Program The CAL Bookstore Program is a program for independent book stores. Its purpose is to reward bookstores who help sell our titles. Participation is limited to 4 bookstores in each state. Chains are not eligible.	Personal Publishing In keeping with its purpose to encourage and develop literary talent, CAL offers a Personal Publishing Program (PPP) where the author becomes his/her own publisher.

Join the Conservatory! The cost is about $2 per month, payable at $25 per year. Members receive a free subscription to the quarterly Northwoods Journal, a magazine for writers, a 10% discount on Northwoods Press and Dan River Press books, a free ad in each issue of The Northwoods Journal, a magazine for writers, and more!
